THE ROLE: Reporting to the Global Sales and Marketing Director and responsible for our USA & Canada Territory Managers, your key task will be to drive the growth of our North American business, identifying and implementing innovative methods for targeting new customers. Developing the business with OEM regional sales managers, as well as providing customer support throughout the sales and negotiation process, will be mission-critical in order to maximise business opportunities and develop a pipeline in emerging sectors/markets. You will represent the company at the highest level. Other key features of the role include:
- developing strategic sales plans
- managing selected key accounts
- targeting intermediary suppliers and catalogue resellers
- developing a team competent to grow the business in-line with the opportunity
SKILLS REQUIRED: You will be a highly successful, driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in technical sales, incorporating extensive knowledge of the North American market. That combination of sales and leadership skills will be underpinned by strong business acumen. An excellent technical and commercial problem solver, with the ability to adapt to and communicate well with difference cultures, you will be passionate about international business. Your proven ability to build and drive successful sales teams will complement your superb interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
